Cookies

Without your consent, this website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

Version of 1 November 2026 (adds OLBO’s own statistics).

What always runs

  • Visit statistics from our hosting provider Vercel: which pages were opened, where visitors came from, country and device type. They are anonymised, set no cookies and do not identify you.
  • Where you came to the site from (for example, LinkedIn or a link in an article) is remembered only in this browser tab and is added to your request if you send one. When the tab is closed, this data disappears.
  • The accessibility panel remembers your choices in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device; the “Reset” button clears it.
  • The hosting provider may use technical mechanisms needed to run and protect the website.

OLBO’s own statistics. We count which pages are opened and how long people spend on them, without cookies or third-party services, so we do not ask for consent for this. We do not store IP addresses, names or email addresses. If you came via a link in our email, we see that the page was opened by your institution — this tells us whether the email was useful; the institution code from the link is kept only in your browser’s local storage. If you do not want our emails, use the unsubscribe link in the email and we will not write again.

What runs only with your consent

  • Google Analytics — more detailed statistics that help us understand what is useful on the site. It uses cookies. Until you click “Allow”, the Google script is not loaded at all.
  • Google Ads — ad measurement: if you came from our Google ad and sent a request, Google counts it as a result of the ad. Google does not receive the content of your request. It uses cookies. It runs only on pages for private individuals (online invitations, checkout). Pages for companies, including defence companies, carry no Google Ads tag. We do not enable personalised ads or remarketing.

More details are in the Privacy Policy.
